Keywords:optical heterodyne system, blood glucose level

We have proposed a noninvasive blood glucose sensing method using an optical heterodyne system. We believe that this method has advantages over the other existing techniques in terms of the signal intensity of transmitted light and the accuracy of the estimated glucose concentration. In the presentation, we will show the results obtained from the fundamental experiment, which are considered to support the above idea. We also studied a simple processing system detecting the phase of the beat signal.
