[16p-P4-2] Optical and Electronic Properties of Nano-domains in Graphene Oxide

Electronic and optoelectronic properties of graphene oxide (GO) are known to be associated with the nano-scale spatial distributions of the conductive sp² domain and the insulating sp³ domain. In this paper, we have used STM to elucidate the local electronic structure of GO on Au(111) covered with the octanethiolate monolayer. Furthermore, STM light emission spectroscopy has been carried out to reveal the optical behavior of the sp² domain in GO.
