[16p-P9-36] Radioluminescence properties of praseodymium doped calcium fluoride crystals

Eu2+ ions doped CaF2 is known as a scintillator for charged particles measurement. Eu2+ ions doped CaF2 has a high light yield and a long decay time. In the present study, we aimed to develop a scintillator with a short decay time using CaF2 as a host material. We focused Pr3+ ions as an activator, and prepared and evaluated CaF2 crystals doped with Pr3+ ions at various concentrations.
