[17a-211-8] 2D Simulation of Point Back Contacted Silicon Heterojunction Solar Cells

The performance of point back contacted silicon heterojunction solar cells where the circular back surface field (BSF) layer is locally placed in the emitter has been approximately investigated by 2d simulation. In comparison with the conventional interdigitated back contact cells having the same area, their FF and efficiency could be better when the BSF radius is not so small.
