Keywords:two-dimensional CdTe X-ray image sensor, Material identification of object

Only one-dimensional CdTe X-ray image sensor has been developed so far for the CdTe X-ray image sensor of the photon counting system, but now, a two-dimensional CdTe X-ray image sensor has been developed. Using this two-dimensional CdTe X-ray image sensor, two-dimensional planar images of the number of photons are obtained at intervals of several keV in the region of energy 30 to 75 keV from the number of incident photons and the number of transmitted photons of the subject, and μ (E) = ln (Number of transmitted photons / number of incident photons), the line attenuation coefficient of each energy region was obtained. (C), aluminum (Al), titanium (Ti), iron (Fe), copper (Cu), and copper (Cu) by the line attenuation coefficient of two different energy regions (E1, E2) We report the effective atomic number Z of each subject calculated.
