Keywords:Boron Neutron Capture Therapy (BMCT), Skin Malignant Melanoma, optimal neutron energy

In this study, we investigated optimal neutron energy when performing BMCT in the treatment of skin malignant melanoma using Monte Carlo simulation. In addition, the effect of the bolus was also examined by comparing the case without using the bolus and the case using the bolus. As a result, neutron energy in skin malignant melanoma is optimal for thermal neutrons, but when a bolus with high water content of about 1.5 cm thick is used, thermal neutrons of about 1 keV or less are more appropriate.
