[17a-P4-31] Optical Properties of Two-Dimensional Gratings with Ternary Liquid Crystal Orientation Domains

We discussed diffraction properties of liquid crystal (LC) gratings with ternary orientation domains, aiming to the LC grating polarimetry. We mainly investigated the effect of the grating period on the LC orientation state and diffraction properties using the computer simulation of the LC orientation state. As a result, the measured and simulated diffracted light intensities was similar, indicating the applicability of the adopted determination scheme of the diffraction efficiency, which was derived from the computer simulation of the LC orientation state.
