[18a-136-11] Laser-induced hydrophobicity on galvanized steels for highway facilities

Although ZAM (Zn-Al-Mg) coating steels are weatherability materials and widely used for infrastructures, such as highway structures and related facilities, little has been reported about wettability and icephobicity investigation using LIPSS on ZAM surfaces. In this contribution, we investigate the wettability of water droplet measuring a contact angle (CA) on surfaces of ZAM using femtosecond pulsed laser-treatment method.
