TW scale production of PV system in 2030 is required, and materials without resource constraint must be necessary as well as cost and conversion efficiency. Cu2ZnSnS4-based solar cells are gathering much attention to fulfill the conditions. However, the conversion efficiency is difficult to be improved due to the large open circuit voltage loss. In this talk, we will show the current status of affairs and future prospects to overcome, especially, comparing with Cu(In,Ga)Se2 solar cells.
