Graphite has good characteristics like high electric conductivity and reaction resistance, and it is important to study the structure in detail. In this research, graphite is irradiated by hydrogen plasma, and the surface structure was observed by atomic force microscopy (AFM) and electron back scatter diffraction patterns (EBSD). By observing the same place, it was revealed that the lines observed in AFM image corresponds to the grain boundaries of graphite surface.
