ZnO/Silicon heterojunction solar cell has been simulation using SILVACO TCAD Simulator to establish the plasmonic effects of gold nanostructure on the performance of the solar cell. A solar cell containing the gold nanoparticles on top of ZnO layer has been analyzed by including FTDT and complete carrier transport simulation which shows the improvement in short-circuit current density and open circuit voltage and power conversion efficiency of the ZnO/Silicon heterojunction solar cell.
