Toward development of the superconducting joints between DI-BSCCO tapes, we aimed at establishment in the guideline for forming the high Jc intermediates at the joint part and Bi2223 thick films were prepared by the single heat-treatment under an ambient pressure. It was discovered that Jc properties for the films were improved by the optimization of the heat-treatment conditions. These high Jc properties are suitable for forming the practical superconducting joints.
