Keywords:Compound Semiconductor Solar Cell, Conversion efficiency

In order to estimate conversion efficiencies of solar cells under real concentrated sunlight, it is necessary to reduce the influence of scattered light. In this study, solar cells were surrounded by a cylinder at 1-sun measurement to reduce the incidence of scattered light component. The concentration ratio and conversion efficiencies were calculated on the basis of this experimental results. As a result, depending on the presence or absence of scattered light component, there were differences in conversion efficiency of 4.6% at the maximum for the 4-junction solar cell and 3.4% at the maximum for the 3-junction solar cell.
