[20p-PA7-6] Decolorization of Mixed Colored Aqueous Solution by Atmospheric-Pressure Plasma Jet

Keywords:atmospheric pressure plasma, mixed colored aqueous solution, decolorization

An atmospheric pressure plasma jet was irradiated onto the mixed colored aqueous solution (deep green) of Tartrazine aqueous solution (yellow) and Malachite green aqueous solution (blue). The deep green aqueous solution gradually became lighter with increasing irradiation time and was almost completely decolorized after 60 min of irradiation. The decolorization of the mixed colored aqueous solution was examined by considering changes in the absorbance spectra in the wavelength range from UV to near-infrared light.
