[20p-PB4-3] Step-π-conjugated polymers (60) Synthesis and physical property of polymer with photosensitizer for multi-step electrn transfer.

We synthesized a step-π-conjugated polymer by addition condensation of 1,2,3-trihydroxybenzene and aldehyde having electron donor or electron acceptor properties. When electron donor and electron acceptor units are introduced into this polymer, the step-π-conjugated polymer is capable of high-speed electron transport by overlapping π electron cloud of molecular wire. Furthermore, we introduce perylene into it as a photosensitizing part leading to multi-step electron transfer. In this time we report the synthetic method of basic polymer and the evaluation of photoinduced electron transfer using the polymer obtained by the method.
