[20p-PB5-52] Temperature Dependence of Scintillation Properties for Ce-doped and Eu-doped LiCaAlF6 Single Crystals

We have reported the performance of Ce-doped LiCaAlF6 (LiCAF) and Eu-doped LiCAF single crystals as neutron scintillators, but both evaluations were carried out only at room temperature. In this study, scintillation properties of Ce-doped LiCAF and Eu-doped LiCAF single crystals under neutron irradiation at high temperature were measured in comparison with lithium glass (GS20). The temperature dependences of the pulse height under neutron irradiation were examined for each sample and it was found that the decreasing rates of the detection signal intensity at high temperature of the Ce-doped LiCAF and Eu-doped LiCAF single crystals are the same level as GS 20.
