Gasoline evaporated and gasified is called fuel evaporative gas. The fuel evaporative gas is harmful to the human body, and at the gas station, a method of liquefying and recovering by compressing and cooling the fuel evaporative gas has been adopted. However, in this method, the equipment is large and equipment cost is high.
Therefore, we investigated decomposing the fuel evaporative gas and render it harmless by dielectric barrier discharge (a type of atmospheric pressure plasma) which can be constructed inexpensively.
