We are conducting research on gene transfer using surface discharge. By using this technique, it is expected that a wide area of gene introduction can be expected with a single discharge treatment on cells cultured in a 3.5 cm dish, but in practice the introduction area is not stable. In this research, we tried to stabilize introduction area by the electrode position. As a result, it was possible to introduce a stable, uniform and large area gene by optimizing the electrode position so that the discharge acts on the cells using surface discharge.
