[21p-224B-3] Measurement of 73-keV X-ray time spectrum with a proportional-mode APD scintillation detector using Bi2O3-PLS

We have developed a fast scintillation detector for high-energy X-rays using proportional-mode silicon avalanche photodiode (Si-APD). Evaluation of time response was carried out at beamline BL-14A of the Photon Factory ring for the new detector mounted with a Bi2O3 nano-particle doped plastic scintillator. We obtained a peak width (FWHM) of 0.30 ns for an X-ray peak in the time spectrum.
