In this study, we perform the optical analysis of organic solar cells with antireflection nanostructure (moth eye texture) by using the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method. In the devices in which light passes through glass substrate, such as organic solar cells, the FDTD response shows artificial oscillation that does not arise in the actual devices. We show that by using the proposed algorithm, it is possible to remove the artificial oscillation and obtain accurate optical response. We also apply the proposed method to optimize the geometric parameters of moth eye and enhance the photocurrent level of organic solar cells.
