Atmospheric pressure plasma jets (APPJs) have the characteristics of "atmospheric pressure", "low temperature", and "remote", which have been utilized for various applications including medical treatments. However, regarding utilization of the characteristics of "Plasma bullets", few reports are found. We considered that the propagation of plasma bullets can be applied to the treatment of the inner wall of scaffolds used for bone regeneration through improvement of water permeability of them. In this work, we demonstrate that the APPJ can improve the permeability of hydrophobic porous dielectrics.
