Keywords:DNA, nanopore, fluorescence

The translocation of a moderately long DNA through a nanopore causes clogging. We have investigated such clogging by observing DNA directly using fluorescent microscopy. In order to examine interactions between a pore and DNA, DNA’s length and shape were varied. We also examined nicked DNA’s to reduce geometrical interaction. We will discuss the effect of electroosmosis from DNA itself.
