Electrochemiluminescence (ECL) involves generation of redox species at electrodes. ECL devices consist of two electrode and emitting solution.ECL devices are expected as a next generation displey technologies due to its simplicity and high response by AC drive. However, some problems such as low intensity and short device lifetime are remained.In this study, improvement of luminescence characteristics was observed by adding a plurality of low molecular compounds such as perylene and 9-vinylcarbazole to ECL device using Poly (3-hexylthiophene-2,5-diyl) emitting solution.
