[17a-G202-1] Temperature dependence of performance of infrared PbS QD/ZnO NW solar cells
Keywords:Colloidal quantum dots, Infrared photovoltaics, Solar cells
One of the ultimate goals of solar energy uses is the development of ultra-high efficiency solar cells using low-cost solar cell technology such as low temperature and solution-based method. Utilization of photon energy in a wide range of the solar spectrum is also a critical issue. Size-dependent bandgap tunability of colloidal quantum dots, semiconducting behavior of densely-packed colloidal quantum dots, and solution-process compatibility have been considered promising materials for the purpose. In particular, PbS colloidal quantum dots are a promising material for infrared photovoltaics. In a presentation, temperature dependence of solar cell performance of infrared PbS QD/ZnO nanowire solar cells is discussed.
