We have successfully demonstrated an Er:ZBLAN fiber laser at 2.8 μm wavelength by using MOPA system. The fiber amplifier consist of two couplers for side pumping which is originative structure fabricated by splicing the fluoride glasses. As a result, stabel 24 W amplified signal was performed by 124 W pumping with wavelength of 2800 nm. To our knowledge, this is highest cw output power obtained by MOPA system of Er:ZBLAN fiber laser.
