[17p-C201-17] Two-Dimensional Simulation of Atmospheric-Pressure Glow Discharge with Liquid Electrode

Fumiyoshi Tochikubo1, Satoshi Uchida1 (1.Tokyo Metro. Univ.)

Keywords:atmospheric-pressure glow discharge, plasma-liquid interaction, plasma simulation

In the atmospheric-pressure glow discharge (APGD) with a liquid electrode, liquid-phase reactions are induced by the interaction between water molecules at liquid interface and charged particles/radicals entering the liquid surface from the atmospheric pressure glow discharge. That is, it is necessary to elucidate the detailed process since the discharge configuration and the reaction process differ depending on the kind of liquid, conductivity, gas composition, etc. This work focuses on the structure of APGD with liquid electrode, in particular electric field distribution in liquid and transportation of charged particles by numerical analysis based on fluid model.
