[17p-P10-45] X-ray absorption fine structure analysis of Ir-doped a-Fe2O3

Fe2O3 is an antiferromagnet which has spin reorientation transition referred to Morin transition. In the past, we demonstrated enhancement of Morin transition temperature of Fe2O3film from 260K to above 400K by a tiny amount of Ir-doping. In order to clarify the mechanism of the drastic enhancement, in this study we investigate the chemical state of Ir-doped Fe2O3 film from Mossbauer spectroscopy and X-ray absorption fine structure (XAFS) measurements.
