Three-dimensional light sensing is expected to be applied to a wide range of applications such as automatic operation LiDAR, ranging sensor of robot, face authentication system of mobile terminal, security camera, 3D camera of artificial reality application. We have proposed a non-mechanical beam sweeping device using a VCSEL amplifier with a DBR slow light waveguide structure and have been working on the development of a light source for 3D sensor.In this research, we have developed a device with a folded structure of the VCSEL amplifier We have prepared and succeeded in generating high-definition dot pattern.
