[18a-F102-5] Shortening of data-processing time in unstable plaque detection with the UVC method

We have investigated a method to identify an unstable plaque using the ultrasonic velocity-change method. In this method, fat regions are detected from the difference between the echo signals before and after temperature change. So far, there was a problem that it took several minutes for data processing to obtain a UVC image from 2D echo images. In this study, we utilized 1D echo data of a specific observation position. As a result, the data-processing time was shortened to 2.6 s, and quasi real-time monitoring of a fat region was achieved.
