Keywords:quantum dot, superlattice, intermediate band

In recent years, quantum dot (QD) superlattices have attracted attention in order to realize high efficiency solar cells. When QDs are arranged periodically, an intermediate band is formed, it becomes possible to absorb light of a wide range of wavelengths, and high energy conversion efficiency is realized. In this study, we investigated the plane orientation of each QD in the QD superlattice and the optical properties of the superlattice film when QD with facet is settled on the template.
