Since the fuel cell uses expensive platinum as a catalyst, there is a big problem in terms of cost. Therefore, researches on non-platinum metal catalysts such as iron substitute for platinum are conducted. We focused on polydopamine (PDA) formed by oxidative polymerization of dopamine at gas-liquid interface as raw material of nitrogen doped carbon material. In this study, PDA composite films doped with iron or nitrogen element as a catalytic activation point was prepared and the catalytic ability of the carbon material obtained by calcination was evaluated. From the linear sweep voltammogram, the ORR onset potential (-0.02 V vs. Ag / AgCl) of the PDA-PEI-Fe composite calcined film shifts to noble compared to the GC and PDA calcined film, And it was also found that the number of reactive electrons also has performance comparable to Pt / C. This is probably because the catalytic activity point of the ORR was increased because Fe, N was doped in the PDA film.
