[18p-F306-6] Colorimetric biosensors utilizing plasmonic nanodome arrays

Mana Toma1, Keiko Tawa1 (1.Kwansei Gakuin Univ.)

Keywords:surface plasmon resonance, three dimensional metal nanostructures, colorimetric biosensor

In this study, metal nanodome arrays exhibiting monochromatic plasmonic colors are created by using a bottom-up fabrication process. The color change of the metal nanodome array was observed by the bulk refractive index of the surrounding medium. In the presentation, development of colorimetric plasmonics biosensors for the detection of DNA hybridization by using DNA-modified AuNPs and metal nanodome arrays will be presented.
