[18p-F306-7] Improvement of optical arrangement for sensitive fluorescence detection with a plasmonic chip

Keywords:Surface plasmon resonance, Enhanced fluorescence, Biosensor

Plasmonic chip was applied to the immunosensor and the optical arrangement was studied as more enhanced fluorescence can be detected and the limit of detection (LOD) for fluorescence sensing can be improved. In the plasmonic chip with a pitch of 480 nm, the Excited light with s-pol. was irradiated to the plasmonic chip in the optical arrangement as the grating vector was perpendicular to the incident plane. The surface plasmon resonance angle was shifted to the higher angle and the enhanced fluorescence was detected.
