We have already reported that the optically-anisotropic nanosheet of detonation nanodiamond (DND) can be formed at the air/water interface by injecting an aqueous DND colloidal suspension in the subphase underneath the monolayer of arachidic acid. Here we report on the organized structure in the DND nanosheet based on the AFM observation.
