[18p-G205-9] Structural Analysis of Polymer Nanosheets with Bithiophene Units

We have succeeded in the formation of monolayer and multilayer stack of Langmuir-Blodgett films containing π-conjugated units by co-spreading of two amphiphilic polymers: p(mHBT) with bithiophene units and pDDA with long alkyl chains. In this presentation, we will discuss the results on structural analysis of the LB films based on the XRR, GIXD and pMAIRS measurements. As a result, the film has amorphous but highly anisotropic structure: highly ordered layered structure in the out-of-plane direction whereas no order was found in the in-plane direction.
