Flexible electric wiring with silver film patterns were on tested for their temperature dependence on repeated bendability.
The flexible devices based on polymer thin films such as polyethylene naphthalate (PEN) have attracted a lot of attention, because these devices can be bendable or foldable. But measuring methods for durability or reliability of flexible devices have not well established yet. We focused on the repeated bendability of the flexible devices and study with simple flexible Ag electric wirings.

The flexible Ag electric wrings were formed on thin PEN films by vacuum deposition and photolithography process. The printed Ag electric wirings also were prepared on a PEN film by screen printing method with a conductive Ag ink and dried at 150ºC for 30 minutes. The line widths are 100 um and 200 um for deposited Ag wirings.
The results of temperature dependence on repeated bendability will be shown and discussed at the presentation.
