有機と無機を複合化させたCdカルコゲナイド半導体ナノシート超格子の有機層に多彩な光応答性を持つ分子を導入し、有機・無機双方の利点を生かした光学材料の開発とその基礎物性の評価を行っている。今回、有機層には直鎖の分子の他にナフチル基を持つ発色性分子を導入し、無機層－有機層のエネルギー移動を介した有機層からの燐光増大を試みた。また、圧力を印加したときの励起子発光の変化についても調べた。
