The temperature distribution along the axis of an individual and suspended single-walled carbon nanotube was measured by infrared photoluminescence (PL) imaging spectroscopy with the temperature dependence of PL emission wavelength. The thermal conductivity and its temperature distribution were obtained from the temperature distribution with considering the environmental effects on PL spectra.
