[19a-P6-30] Nano-Carbon Film Formation Using Pentacene Source and W Mesh Supported Ni

We have tried to form nano-carbon (nano-graphene) films using pentacene source and W mesh supported Ni. In this study, to enhance the polymerization of pentacene, the W meshes supported Ni (WNi meshes) with various Ni supporting area ratio (0, 3, and 100 %) were used as catalysts. In the case of WNi mesh with Ni of 3%, the pentacene molecules and the dihydropentacene molecules generated from pentacenes on Ni particles on W mesh existed simultaneously with the WNi mesh. It indicates that the polymerization reaction can be enhanced by using the WNi mesh with Ni of 3%. The WNi meshes are expected as catalysts for the formation of nano-carbon films.
