[19p-A302-19] Development of High Sensitivity Photothermal Microscopic Imaging

In our previous studies, we developed highly sensitive, high-resolution, and fast-imaging photothermal microscopy by employing an inverse-ring aperture filter, a Galvano mirror, and a space-division balance detection scheme. In the present study we report high-resolution photothermal, which we call PT, microscopy, using non-linear signal detection. By detecting the PT signal from the microscope, we could obtain resolution improvement from the values of diffraction limit of pump and probe by 61 and 42%, respectively.
