Keywords:SQUID, ultrasonic guided wave, nondestructive testing

We have been developing a novel non-destructive testing technique combining ultrasonic guided waves and HTS-SQUID for pipes. In this work, we develped all-around scan method which measure magnetic distribution around circumference of a Al pipe induced by ultrasonic guided wave generated on Al pipe, in order to estimate propagation of the guided waves and localize a defect on the pipe.
