We present surface enhanced Raman scattering of nonlinear chromophores named as Disperse red 1. The experiments were performed at the resonances to the chromophores and the surface plasmons. We also examined in the conditions resonant either to the chromophores or the surface plasmons. Our experimental results addressed the role of the plasmon-molecular interactions for the enhancements of the Raman cross sections.
