Attenuated total reflectance (ATR) spectra in 145-450 nm of various ionic liquids were measured, and observed absorbance were assigned based on quantum chemical calculations. Although the absorption spectra in the far-ultraviolet (< 200 nm) and deep-ultraviolet (<300 nm) regions provide rich information about electronic states of ionic liquids, it is difficult to obtain the spectra without saturation because of their huge absorbance. In this study, by using our original ATR spectrometer, their FUV-DUV spectra were systematically and easily measured. In additon, potential dependence of the ATR spectra were measured.
