[19p-P2-4] Damage detection of damaged beam using impedance load SAW sensor

Deterioration of structures, such as bridges, which were built in 1960’s is serious problem. Therefore, development of a structural health monitoring system is required. In this paper, we discussed the evaluation method of the damaged cantilever. At the measurements, the impedance-loaded SAW sensor was used. The results indicate that the damage can be evaluated with the natural frequency, attenuation coefficient, and amplitude ratio of the first and the second frequency in the frequency domain.
