[19p-P4-1] Synthesize a carbon nanotube thin film using an air spray

As the production method of a CNT thin film, the direct coating method by the roller two rolling method, the electrostatic method of application using an electrical field, etc. are known. The present study considered production of the CNT thin film using an air spray that produce the thin film of a carbon nanotube (following, CNT) by an easy method.
An air spray is an equipment which sprays an organic coating etc. with an air pressure, can spray a solution in the state of fine particles, and has mainly fallen into the tool of paint. Using the air spray, we are spraying a CNT solution with an air pressure, and examined whether it would be possible to produce a CNT thin film by an easy method. When a film was formed with the air spray method by making a silver paste into a buffer layer on n typed single-crystal-silicon substrate, it was possible to have produced a flat CNT thin film. When the resistance value of the CNT thin film was measured, it is 0.75ohm (sheet resistance 3.4ohm/sqare). It was a satisfactory electrical conductivity. Thus, by using the spray method using an air pressure for film forming, it is possible to produce a thin film by an easy method, and I can expect the application to film forming of an organic thin film solar cell, etc.
