Flexible dye lasers are expected to be used in fields such as μ-TAS. We fabricated a laser by impregnating a resin tubing with a dye.Laser oscillation occurred by irradiating the tube with excitation light. Total reflection is repeated at the interface between the outer surface of the tubing and air, causing Whispering Gallery Mode laser oscillation. It was also found that the refractive index of the tubing was changed by using liquid crystal in the solution, and the wavelength and threshold value of the laser were changed.
