Laser-irradiated pyroelectric crystal can emit electrons and can be utilized as a small x-ray source. Experimentally observed current as a function of time was quite complicated. In this work temperature distribution, potential distribution and electron trajectory are simulated as a function of time. The simulation results well reproduced the experimental results.
