[20a-P2-15] Evaluation of electric field intensity in edges of circle, square and triangle type APDs.

There are differnce breakdown voltages by avalanche photodiode(APD) layouts that are circle, square and triangle.We analyzed these electric field intensities in edges and sides by device simulator.It was found that the highest electric field intensity is triangle edge.The 2nd is square edge. The 3rd is circle side. It was confirmed that the breakdown voltage chenged by electric field intensities in APDs edge.
