△ [20p-A402-3] Development of high-sensitive terahertz microfluidic chip with asymmetric metamaterials

We will report on development of a terahertz microchannel chip based on a nonlinear optical crystal with asymmetric metamaterials. By utilizing the near-field interaction between the local teraherz light source which is generated near the crystal surface by irradiation of femtosecond pulse laser beam to the crystal and asymmetric split ring resonators having two gaps, we showed the possibility of high sensitive analysis of trace amount of liquid solution.
