[18a-E301-4] Present and Future of High Efficiency Solar Cells for PV-Powered Vehicle Applications

ShellのSkyシナリオに示されるように、太陽光発電（PV）は、将来のクリーンエネルギー社会の創成を担うことが期待されている。その中で、エネルギー需要の大部分を化石燃料に頼っている運輸部門において、PV導入は、大きなインパクトを持つ。こうした状況をふまえ、NEDOは、「太陽光発電システム搭載自動車検討委員会」を設置し、高効率太陽電池開発のインパクト等に関する検討を行っている。今回、筆者らの研究開発を中心に、車載用太陽電池開発の意義、開発状況、将来展望を述べる。
